Hello! the Dndads Timeline is an inscrutable disaster. This is my best attempt at making it less that. But that comes with the caveat that I decided if the cast can constantly bend the years things happened so can I. Just a quick note on the Taylor is 19 thing. This is a joke Freddie keeps making in Teen Talk episodes. I live in fear of which side of this joke canon will land on, but until then it felt like it changed things enough to cause a split. Should he ever make up his mind I'll fix it. How and why is time the way it is in this planar system? (a much too complex theory)

So. Anthony said [while talking to link as schmegan] that the planes are like plates stacked on top of each other. another way to think of this with the same spacial relationship is as beads on a string. I propose at either end of this string there are fixed points (*1). and from these two fixed points the “string” of planes rotates like a jump rope.so the planes are basically a parabola rotating around a fixed center line.this fixed center line (a straight line between the fixed points) will now be referred to as the Planar Time Constant (PTC). the assumption is that those two fixed points at the ends of the “string” create one straight fixed line of constant time flow.running perpendicular to the PTC (like axis of a graph) is a line that will now be referred to the Planar Meridian. At the “string” rotates it crosses over this Planar Meridian at two points.At the Planar Meridian time is running in flow with the PTC. One one side of the PM time is moving faster than the PTC. on the other side time is moving slower. The distance of a plane from the Planar Meridian amplifies this effect. So planes that are closer to the center of the “string”, where the parabola is closer to it’s apex, experience more dramatic shifts in the flow of time than those closer to the fixed points.this cycle is why all the planes kind of average out in time passed over a long period but can experience dramatic differences in the short term
